There will be a coach meeting in the Viking office. We will discuss game day behavior, and hand out equipment. If you ordered a practice permit from SF Rec & Park, you can pick that up as well.

U5 boys and U5 mixed and U6 boys teams on Sunday Sept 7th at 7pm

U6 girls and U6 mixed on Tuesday Sept 9th at 7pm

U7 boys and U7 girls on Wednesday Sept 10th at 7pm

U7 mixed teams on Thursday Sept 11th at 7pm

you may attend an alternate night if it is not possible to attend on your designated night

the season start date is now Sept 27th and the end date is Nov 15th. The "bye" week is Oct 11th.

The fall season will start Sept 27th; games are Saturdays, with a bye week Oct 11th (fleet week celebration takes our fields)The last game is Nov 15th. This is 7 games. Rainouts are not made up. In the past we have played at Marina Green in the Marina, and Little Rec in Golden Gate Park. We have not received the permits yet for this fall, so cannot guarantee where we will have games.

Cindy will be able to distribute permits one week from today: Thursday Sept 4th & Friday Sept 5th from 8:30am-12:30pm in the Viking office 2521 Judah St at 30th Ave.

This applies to those teams that applied for a practice permit online from SF Rec & Park.

The team age group classification is based on the age of the oldest player. The age group is determined by the player's age on Aug 1, 2008.

• If the player is 4 years old on Aug 1, 2008, then the player is an U5 player
• If the player is 5 years old on Aug 1, 2008, then the player is an U6 player
• If the player is 6 years old on Aug 1, 2008, then the player is an U7 player
• the "U" stands for "under" so there are no 6 year olds in the U6 on Aug 1,2008 but players can turn 6 during the playing year and remain in this age group
